以蒙面造型為演出特點的傳奇饒舌歌手 MF Doom 本名為 Daniel Dumile，年輕時以藝名 Zev Love X 和弟弟 DJ Subroc 組成嘻哈團體 KMD，但在 1993 年時 DJ Subroc 不幸意外逝世，而 Daniel Dumile 也從表演舞台上消失了好一陣子。直到 90 年代尾才以長襪套頭的造型於曼拉頓的咖啡館 Nuyorican Poets Cafe 復出，並且就此以各種不同的蒙面方式作為固定表演模式，而其中最著名的造型就是超級英雄反派 Doctor Doom，這也成為了他最具特色的招牌。
