光哥首次播放《Yellow》時並沒有馬上適應Brain的新風格，就像當時他與 21 Savage 的《Crisis》同樣突破幅度之大，需要給聆聽人時間吸收培養。大家可以從歌詞、影片並多體驗幾次全新旋律感與史詩般的交響元素所帶來不同嘗試的前衛範疇以及關於Rich Brian 的心境故事。多聆聽幾次就能發現其中精隨。
年紀輕輕的他從沒停止嘗試改變風格，具有涵義且易引人共鳴的歌詞更是突破，一部分替黃種人發聲的同時也不感到意外，這就是令許多樂迷讚嘆的 Rich Brian 與 88rising 之所以誕生的目標之一。
此次不僅feat. Bekon，也跟 Kendrick Lamar、SZA 合作過的 The Donuts 共同打造的新專首波主打單曲《Yellow》直白且雙關講述了來自亞洲的年輕人與來自世界各地移民者踏上這片夢想土地的聲音。同時這部影片特別邀請曾與 Travis Scott，Drake 合作的知名導演 Dave Meyers 來執導，以電影的規格向樂迷呈現細膩的視覺體驗，從歌詞、音樂到畫面都是值得嘉許的新生代音樂大作。
