Billie Eilish 除了正式發行首張專輯《When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?》早前她更登上英國《GARAGE》雜誌，她一直非常喜愛村上隆與 Virgil Abloh 的合作設計，這次圍繞在「Radical Love」的封面主題，特別找來村上隆親自操刀設計。以他 2012 年的雕塑作品「Split」作為靈感，融合未來科幻元素重新包裝，讓 Eilish 和村上隆之間的合作友誼進一步成為人們矚目的焦點，而且更加期待下次的跨界合作。《GARAGE》第 16 期已於 2 月 6 日上架，而《When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?》在 3 月 29 日正式發行

GARAGE Magazine reveals the cover of its latest issue, featuring a collaboration between viral indie pop prodigy Billie Eilish and world-renowned artist Takashi Murakami. The magazine’s sixteenth issue continues its tradition of pairing the boldest names in contemporary culture, resulting in unique collaborations between artists, photographers, actors, musicians, and models.

The issue celebrates radicalism in love and life, probing the history of the chosen family with “Object of Affection,” a closer look at object sexuality and Young British Artist Tracey Emin’s marriage to a rock; “Family Matters,” Paul Mpagi Sepuya’s exploration of the artist’s studio as a queer space, commissioned by GARAGE for this issue; French singer-songwriter and actress Soko on the birth of her first child, captured in an intimate series of photographs exclusively for GARAGE; in the magazine’s titular portfolio, Robert Netherly captures communities from Malibu’s first responders to party priestess Lady Fag’s club family; and in the cover story, the vulnerable and unapologetic Billie Eilish describes how she’s captured the imagination of her generation.
